Wimbledon 2-1 Argyle

Argyle lost to Wimbledon – but it drew a crowd of only 936 and it was certainly not as painful as the last meeting between the two sides.

The Pilgrims took the lead in this Checkatrade Trophy group match when former Don Connor Smith scored the only goal of the first half.

Wimbledon were much stronger in the second half and found the net twice, thanks to Lyle Taylor and Tyrone Barnett.
