Argyle 3-2 York
Argyle returned to the top three after holding off a determined fightback from York City at Home Park.
The Pilgrims raced into a 3-0 lead before half-time, thanks to efforts from Jamille Matt and Reuben Reid and an own goal by City’s Will Boyle.
But York responded strongly in the second half and pulled the game back to 3-2 with goals from Russell Penn and former Argyle midfielder Luke Summerfield.
