PASALB Sponsorship Opportunity

After many years of sponsoring an Argyle player or the Argyle manager, PASALB are thinking about a change for this year and we want to gauge opinion about how much interest there might be.

We are thinking about being a match ball sponsor at a home match this season.  This is not a lower cost option as it will still cost £1,500.  However, for this we get a match-day hospitality package for 10 people consisting of…

A champagne reception followed by a behind the scenes tour of Home Park.  Also match tickets in the new grandstand, team sheets, and programmes and a three course meal served prior to the game in Argyle’s new hospitality suite, and lastly representatives of our party will be invited onto the pitch to form a guard of honour when the teams come out.

In addition, PASALB would receive a half page advert in the match day programme which could be used to encourage new members.

Anyway, before making any decisions, and understanding that we don’t have a date yet, we would like to know in principle if any of you would be interested in paying £150 to be in our party on the day.  If not would you be interested in buying raffle tickets for £10, much like in previous years, to have a chance of winning a place.

We believe that this is a good way to continue our financial support to the club, whilst creating a great opportunity for a more intimate supporters experience at Home Park.

We emphasise that we are just seeking an expression of interest at this stage, if we go ahead of course it will depend on which game we decide to sponsor and other factors before definite commitment required.

Furthermore, we are an inclusive association, and nobody should feel excluded from events on ground of cost. Therefore, as stated above at least two of the places will be reserved for a members ballot at £10 per ticket. In addition, and irrespective of whether this sponsorship proposal goes ahead, we intend to select a suitable home match this season to encourage London members to attend, so we can get a big group of London branch supporters heading down hopefully on the same train, for a few beers and some company on a pilgrimage to Home Park.

Finally, we reassure members that it is our intention to hold another “meet the manager” event this season at a game in the South-East- we know everyone is looking forward to meeting the new gaffer”

Therefore we would be very grateful if you could let us know, without any commitment at this stage, if you would be interested in…

  1. £150 for guaranteed place
  2. £10 raffle tickets
  3. Not interested
