Argyle slipped to third in the table after this disappointing defeat at The Hive.
Andy Diadem’s 69th-minute winner for Barnet was bad enough, but the Pilgrims also lost Jordan Forster and Ryan Brunt to nasty injuries in the first half.
Forster crashed headfirst into sponsorship hoardings at the edge of the pitch, injuring his jaw (although fortunately not breaking it).
Brunt went off with a knee injury, and a total of 14 additional minutes of playing time were needed to complete the first half. They only prolonged the agony.
