Argyle 3-2 Stevenage

Argyle piled more pressure on Stevenage manager Teddy Sheringham as they ran out 3-2 winners at Home Park.

Carl McHugh’s third-minute opener was cancelled out only three minutes later when Charlie Lee netted for the visitors.

But Argyle regained control with goals from Gregg Wylde and Craig Tanner before the break.

Lee found the net for a second time in the 49th minute, but the Pilgrims held on to remain top of the league.
