Injury-hit Argyle’s poor run of form continued as Cambridge came away from Home Park with three points.

The Pilgrims went in at half-time trailing for the fifth home game in a row, and Gregg Wylde’s goal was not enough to earn them a point.

Cambridge’s goals came from Ben Williamson and Luke Berry, who benefited from a Peter Hartley slip four minutes from time.

After the game, Derek Adams blamed algae on the pitch for Hartley’s misfortune.
